Only positive vibes!

Only positive vibes!

Let's start with a short story from the book 'Murder The Murderer'. Which is penned down by an American author Henry Miller.

One guy had put 42 people to death. But at some point, he started feeling guilty of his cruel acts. He was disturbed. "I've committed so many crimes" these continuous thoughts would overtire him. To get rid of this all, he went to a renown monk and confessed everything to him. Monk suggested him to stay eight days in his monastery. On the last day, he went to the monk and said, "Master, I am feeling positive after your guidance. I think these hands won't involve into sinful deeds over again. Do a favour on me, tell me something which can atone for my sins. Monk handed him a red handkerchief and said, the day this handkerchief turns white, all your crimes would be vanished.
Days passed. He used to spend his day and night staring at the handkerchief, but it wasn't changing its color. He became a theist, started worshipping all the gods and goddesses he knew, involved into good work as charity, someone suggested that dipping 100 times into the holy waters of the Ganges will wash away his sins, he dived 100 times with his handkerchief but no effect! At last he got frustrated, extremely tired from inside. What to do now?  He was completely clueless. So he thought about going back to that monk. While passing by, he heard a woman screaming. He went to see what happened, a hooligan was beating a woman vigorously in front of everyone. This guy couldn't bear it anymore and went to that hooligan and requested with joining his hands, "This is not right. If you're feeling an urge to beat someone, beat me, but let this lady go." That badman wasn't ready to listen a single word of him, they worked more like a fuel instead and he started abusing her.
At last he lost his mind, "I requested you not because I'm afraid of you! I've committed 42 murders till now 43rd isn't a big deal." And he started fighting with him ruthlessly. Yes, and that's how 43rd murder took place. But he felt extremely guilty later. Monastery was not far away from there. He went to the monk and told him everything. He said how even after doing all good things, his handkerchief didn't leave its color and sobbed, "Master, I've done a big mistake...I murdered one more person on the way..." And narrated each and every incident. Monk said, "It happens my child! Show me your handkerchief first."  He wiped his tears and took the handkerchief out, it had turned white!

What made it possible? His 43rd murder or saving a woman? It's our way to think. That man was frustrated and had lost all hopes to forget his past crimes and feel innocent, normal. His continuous chain of negative thoughts was indirectly affecting his overall health too. Ever wondered why do we feel exhausted just by sitting sometimes? Because our mind is continuously running inside. Mental excursion is equally responsible as the physical excursion for our dull mood. Just like when the man poured his heart out to the monk, you too must empty your feelings and emotions whenever and wherever you feel, trust me, you would feel so good. So just don't think a lot about past, everyone makes mistakes, they're made to make but try not to repeat them. Have a positive approach towards every lil' thing in life and you would soon start to feel magic.
Sometimes it's good to keep your mind empty, get all the junk out. Just like we need detox! Take all your toxic thoughts and negative vibes out and fill it with positive ones. Meditation is a life saver for this. Cause a healthy person means having physical+mental health. That murderer got someone, what if you won't? It's not really necessary to release your feelings to some other person; you yourself are enough! Be your own buddy, treat yourself, do anything just don't take stress. Remember, darkest nights produce the brightest stars. So never ever give up. Only positive vibes!

Adieu!!
