A Journey Full of Perplexion (Part 10)

Sheila had a lot of sweet memories connected with the temple she was taking Aryan and Shreya to today. It was the same temple where she had got married to Aryan's dad... It was the same temple where they used to go and feel blessed, relieved. It was an ancient temple of Lord Vishnu, their Kul Devta situated on a hill. Despite of these memories; Sheila had not even looked at the path heading to this temple since her husband's death, though she used to donate some amount of money every year in the memory of him which was used for prasadam in the temple. Now she was going to visit that temple after decades!
Aryan and Shreya were perplexed with the excitement in the atmosphere; because Aryan had never been to the temple and Shreya was completely unaware of Himalaya and it's places.
Sheila was walking, wearing a smile on her face and plans in her head. There was no other way to reach the temple other than walking or pithoo. Aryan insisted upon Sheila taking a pithoo but she declined. Meanwhile Shreya was busy clicking pictures and being awestruck at the beauty of Himachal. The tall, lush green mountains covered with snow seemed like delicious dessert topped with the decoration of icing sugar. Those rivers, soothing sound and peace was all that she was lacking and looking for.
"Maa, stand there beside that walnut tree na," Shreya instructed Sheila. "I'll take your photos; it'll help me in my internships as well. I'm capturing such a huge amount of beauty in a single frame after all!"
Both giggled and Aryan winked saying "She's my mom after all!"
Shreya had probably taken photos on every meter of their journey; photos of locals, trees, valleys, streams, rivers, stones, mountains, soft sunshine, and hard roads too. Shutterbug shot it all. Shreya took couple of pictures of Sheila and Aryan too as they hardly had any together.
Weather was pleasant which was very rare.
Shreya didn't know Aryan's decision whether he'll accept or reject her proposal but still she was enjoying her journey; the journey full of perplexion and was savoring, cherishing each moment making it worth it.
After walking about eight kilometres they could see bright, colorful flags hoisting, moving in the air. Now the destination was not so far; temple was just a few steps away.
